LutInternational Sales and Data Executive - lutfiye@professionalbeauty.co.uk  - 0207 3494795

- What’s your role in the Professional Beauty team?

International Sales and Data Executive

- How long have you been with Trades Exhibitions?

16 months

- What do you most enjoy about your job?

Seeing nothing become something. Especially, as we draw closer to show time and fighting against those last few hours and seconds...

- As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A journalist or criminologist

- Name a favourite film

Why does it only have to be one??? The Wedding Singer, because I am a hopeless romantic and love happy endings. Although I am still waiting for the novel Shantaram to be made into a movie and if they ever manage to complete the screenplay then I am sure that will become my new favourite movie

- Who would be your ideal dinner party guests?

The author Paulo Coelho and just me, as I wouldn’t want to share him with anyone else as I have far too many questions to ask about universal signs and how to follow them

- Where do you call home?

I have identity issues. I travel to Cyprus frequently to visit my family and end up missing London after the second week. I travel back to London and start missing the family again and the glorious weather I left behind and want to transport myself instantly. Clearly, home can be in more then one place

- Who’s your hero/ine?

Jamie Oliver! He can even make a boiled egg look exciting and cause revolution

- What is your Professional Beauty memory and why?

Our recent Professional Beauty and World Spa Awards at the Hilton on Park Lane. Knowing how much hard work had gone into the preparation of that particular event and seeing more than 700 key professionals attend and partake with huge enthusiasm was euphoric

- What is your catchphrase?

“It’s all about the rocking chair moment”... Meaning when I sit in that rocking chair in years to come I want to smile sweetly to myself and know I lived life to the max

- Who would play you in the movie of your life?

Would I really want to subject any soul to such a disaster!!! Oh, ok, hmmm, maybe Madonna. She may be vertically challenged but nothing stops Madge

- What is the secret to a happy life?

To appreciate the little daily miracles and not take others or things for granted. Waking up in the morning and shouting “thank you”, seven times seems to be a good way to get things rolling
